SC14 - But, Except, Not

Were the people who gambled on riverboats like, particularly reckless? When compared with other gamblers? What work is that modifier doing.

SC14 Pandemic Edition started exactly five months ago today, and during those 22 weeks I’ve been proud not to miss a single scheduled post. Well, the streak ends today; work (check the timestamp on this email, this is not me waking up early, I make bad life choices, please send time management training) has made it so there’s just no way I’m going to be able to write a post befitting the really killer songs that Emma, Dermott, Scott, and Aisha—yes, even Aisha!—sent in. So I’m going to take a week off and get back to you next Thursday.

The cool thing about this is that now SC14 will end on New Year’s Eve. Not like I’m gonna have anything better to do than gritting my teeth and letting one of you choose the ultimate winner of the whole thing!
